Pool's Closed Timeline
Pool's Closed officially operated for nearly 4 years. Much happened in that time.
Week of July 12, 2006 - Pool's Closed v1.0
Early September 2006 - Host acts like a dumbshit and kills site. Occurs very close to /b/-day.
October 8, 2006 - Pool's Closed reestablished, v2.0. Very first thread was a spambot and thus does no longer exists.
October 29, 2006 - Nigra Radio launched.
November 1, 2006 - tramptech announces the original Nigrapedia. And there was much rejoicing.
November 5, 2006 - Original (and only winrar) Guy Fawkes raid.
December 1, 2006 - First World AIDS Day raid and first official raid Pool's Closed participates in organizing.
January 16, 2007 - First MLK Day raid. Soon after the Spring Lull is instituted to avoid raid burnout.
February 16-22, 2007 - Habbit posts about the POP Culture College. Many nigras make multiple /b/lockades and take over classes for several days until Sulake locks all the rooms.
April 1, 2007 - Orochi upgrades Pool's Closed to phpBB3. Flash bbcode introduced and soon after broken by Orochi.
April 2, 2007 - Host briefly takes a shit and fucks up the forums.
April 26-27, 2007 - Orochi unleashes his inner butthurt and goes full emo. Uses backdoors he planted to delete the forums and the several attempts to restore them. Most of the April posts are lost. Sped makes lulzy illustrations about wtf happened. Eventually Sped gives up and turns hosting over to Afroduck due to having frequently donated jewgolds to run shit.
May 1, 2007 - Pool's Closed v3.0 is launched. Reversion to modded phpBB 2 since 3 was still beta; ends up being a permanent change. Rules are lightened, moar lulz return. Cosby flash posted on front page. All posts from March 5 to April 27 are forever lost due to only available backup being 2 months old.
May 7, 2007 - 7/12 Reunion planning begins again. Captain Planet creates the promo speech used in the video.
May 15, 2007 - Flash bbcode returns. Yes, it really *was* that big a deal.
May 24, 2007 - 7/12 Reunion propaganda video is uploaded, possibly the most epic piece of nigra-made propaganda ever created.
June 1, 2007 - Orochi raeps the Nigrapedia and scripts the permissions and templates so it's impossible to get in again. Site host is unresponsive and content is also forever lost.
June 11, 2007 - In honor of redshoepaul's birthday, the first Global Mod Day occurs. Many lulz. Sodaz kills it halfway through by deleting half the posts and cramming all the rest into a single forum.
June 15, 2007 - Pool's Closed changes domains due to Sped redirecting the .com and some faggot registering .net and trying to sell it back and .org was already in use.
July 1-2, 2007 - Some script kiddie launches DDoS against Pool's Closed. Combination of redirects and host filtering kills it after the second day.
July 12, 2007 - 7/12 Reunion raid. #poolsclosed has upwards of 240 nigras. Forums hit a record 209 simultaneous users a couple minutes before raid start, overloading the shared hosting. Constant epicness and lulz ensues for hours.
Late July 2007 - Nigrapedia mostly restored and publicly opened again.
