sionChickens are a somewhat laggy and very noisy money sink for people in SL who truly have no lives. Similar to tamagotchi except you have to pay jewgolds to feed and take care of them.
These chickens spend most of their time bitching about wanting moar food. They are physical objects and not terribly hard to kill. Their deaths tend to bring about a lot of drama and potential lulz.
